We share the exciting news that we've successfully purchased the building next door to our masjid. We reflect on our journey—from praying in a church for over ten years to now expanding our masjid in downtown Philadelphia, right next to City Hall. We emphasize the importance of patience, perseverance, and unwavering faith in Allah Ta'ala. Every donation goes directly toward building a world-class masjid with the best amenities and environment, because Muslims deserve nothing less than the finest facilities for worship. This achievement, accomplished within two years, is a testament to community support and Allah's mercy.

We highlight that the greatest blessing is understanding La ilaha illallah Muhammadur Rasulullah and worshipping Allah alone according to the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), who is the seal of the prophets and our final messenger.

We share our gratitude for the community's generous donations that helped us secure funding to close on a new building next to City Hall on the last day of Ramadan. We discuss how every contribution—from one dollar to checks in the mail—matters and has been counted. We're excited to announce our expansion plans for Center City Mosque and ask for patience as we prepare to close on the property and Insha’Allah to create a safe, purified space where every Muslim visiting Philadelphia can pray comfortably indoors, without having to pray in alleyways or deal with the harsh weather.

We recognize pivotal contributors to our success, Brother Hysam, who is relocating to California. We express gratitude to everyone who has supported and followed our journey with Center City Mosque over the past three years, from our humble beginnings in the back of a church to now acquiring new buildings. We invite everyone to join us for future prayers and celebrations in our new mosque space, inshallah.
