Emanuel (Bridesburg) United Church of Christ Emaunel United Church of Christ ceased operation on December 1, 2024. We warmly welcome you to Emanuel UCC. So, come and visit our friendly congregation.

We have been worshiping God and serving the community here on Fillmore Street in Bridesburg since 1861. We’re a small, but very friendly congregation where visitors quickly become part of the Emanuel church family. Worship is held each Sunday at 10 a.m., followed by Bible study and refreshments at 11 a.m. We celebrate Holy Communion on the first Sunday of each month. Through our participation in t

he Bridesburg Council of Churches and by hosting community groups, we seek to make a difference in Bridesburg. You’ll be glad you did!

Hello all. The following is a list of UCC churches that have been provided by pastor Dave if anyone is interested in attending.

United Christian Church, Levittown 8525 New Falls Road, Levittown, PA 19054 || (215) 946-6800 || [email protected] www.ucclevittown.org- This congregation is dually affiliated with the UCC and the Disciples of Christ. While I haven't visited in years, if memory serves, the building is relatively accessible, with no stairs needed to get to the worship space. They have several clergy and lay members who lead worship on a rotating basis.

Trinity Reformed UCC, Holland, 1400 Buck Rd, Holland, PA https://trinityreformeducc.us/ Tel: 215.968.9668 This is a small congregation, with slightly over a dozen in worship most Sundays. They have a daycare next to the church, and a carillon with beautiful bells, in their worship space they also have a set of bells for a bell choir. If memory serves, the worship space is on the first level i.e. no steps to get to worship. Rev Roshan Soans is the pastor there.

Chestnut Hill United 8812 Germantown Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19118 chestnuthillunited.org 215-242-9321 Dually affiliated UCC and United Methodist. Very community oriented.

Glenside UCC 2160 Wharton Rd, Glenside, PA 19038 (215) 887-1819 www.glensideucc.org Very active congregation. I do believe there may be a few steps involved to get to the worship space.

Love In Action UCC, Hatboro 350 S York Rd, Hatboro, PA 19040 (215) 785-8808 https://www.facebook.com/p/Love-in-Action-United-Church-of-Christ-100064746274422/ This is the rebranding of the former UCC at Warminster. The Warminster congregation sold their building and moved to Hatboro. I've never seen the new space so I have no info on stairs, parking etc. Rev Josh Blakesley is the pastor.

Join us this Sunday, December 1st at 2pm for our final service after over 160 years at Emanuel. We will have pastor Dave perform the service, as well as Risa joining us providing music. We will be streaming, as per usual however we will have seating available downstairs for those who wish to attend in person, but have mobility issues. After service we will provide light light refreshments in the social hall. We will be providing some UCC church options later in the week for anyone that is interested.
