🎉🍕 We had such a fun time at our end-of-the-school-year party for our youth and children’s groups last night at West Philadelphia Baptist Church! 🙌

Everyone enjoyed a great evening of fellowship with pizza, ice cream, and lots of co****le games! 🍦🌽 We loved getting to spend time together and celebrate the end of another school year.

We are so thankful for all of our kids, youth, volunteers, and families. We’re excited for all the memories still to come this summer! ❤️

🎓 Congratulations to our 2026 graduates! 🎉

Last night at West Philadelphia Baptist Church, we were honored to celebrate the high school graduation of Eli Sharp and Jonah Robinson during our baccalaureate service. We are so proud of these young men and all that they have accomplished.

During the service, we presented each graduate with a Bible as a reminder to keep God at the center of their lives as they begin this next chapter. Following the service, we enjoyed a wonderful time of fellowship together with our church family. ❤️

As you move forward into the future, always remember this promise from God’s Word
“For I know the plans I have for you, saith the Lord, plans of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” Jeremiah 29:11 (KJV)

In a world that constantly fights for our attention, our priorities matter more than ever. So many things try to take the place that only God deserves, but true peace, purpose, and joy are found when Jesus is first in our lives. ✝️

Putting Jesus first means trusting Him above our feelings, choosing His Word over the opinions of the world, and following Him even when it’s difficult. When Christ is at the center of our homes, our churches, our decisions, and our hearts, everything else begins to fall into its proper place.

Matthew 6:33 (KJV)
“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”

No matter what this week may hold, make the decision today to put Jesus above all things. He is worthy of first place. 🤍

Sometimes the path forward looks impossible. The doors seem shut, the answers don’t come, and the future feels uncertain. But time and time again, God proves that He is faithful. 🌊✨

Just like He parted the Red Sea, He still makes a way where there seems to be no way. Keep trusting Him even when you can’t yet see what He’s doing. His plans are greater than our fear and His timing is always perfect. 🙏

Due to the threat of severe weather expected in our area, there will be no Wednesday night services tonight at West Philadelphia Baptist Church. ⛈️

The safety of our church family is very important to us, and we encourage everyone to stay weather aware and remain safe throughout the evening. We look forward to seeing everyone back at our next service.
