Thank you to all who joined us for Cookies, Cocoa, and Community yesterday! It was a wonderful time to just be together and get into the holiday spirit! Thank you to Atonement, Pastor Noah, and Vicar Connor for hosting us! We wish everyone a happy holiday season and we look forward to seeing you in the new year!

What better way to wrap up our 2025 year of Gather Philly than celebrating the holidays with Cookies, Cocoa, and Community?! 🎄🍪☕️

Join us on Sunday, December 7th at 4:30pm at Atonement Lutheran Church in Fishtown to bake some cookies, drink some hot cocoa, gather together, and perhaps watch a classic holiday movie! Holiday themed PJ’s are HIGHLY encouraged but not required.

Last week, Gather leaders from around the country, including Gather Philly+ co-leader Grace Marcus, gathered together to celebrate the ordination of Deacon Kayla Zopfi, ELCA Young Adults Network Coordinator. Deacon Kayla, thank you for answering the call to serve Young Adults across the church and world and we were so glad we could celebrate you! We also rejoice that there are now 50 gather groups across the country!!!!

We are working on planning one more event for the year so stay tuned!

Don’t forget - next week is Night At The Sanctuary at St. Luke’s in Devon!! We are so excited to get back together again and hear about everyone’s summer!

RSVP via socials, email, or let Mycah, Grace, or Katie know so we can get a headcount for food! Bring a friend, sleeping bag, and maybe a favorite game! Looking forward to seeing you all next week🦖🕵️

We’re Backkkk!!! It has been a long and eventful summer but we are so excited to meet again!

Mark your calendars for September 12-13th for “A Night at the Sanctuary” at Saint Luke’s in Devon. The night will be filled with games, snacks, fellowship, and of course a special screening of “Night at the Museum.” We will conclude with breakfast in the morning.

Saint Luke’s is an 8 minute walk from the Devon stop on the Paoli/Thorndale line!

Please RSVP either via DM, comment, or emailing us at [email protected] by Monday 9/8 to secure your spot!

So bring a sleeping bag and a friend! If you don’t have a sleeping bag, let us know and we will work to get you one! All Young Adults (18-35) are welcome and affirmed!

We are just one week away!!!! Next Tuesday, May 20th, we will volunteer at Feast Incarnate. "Feast" is a food and hospitality ministry that serves Philadelphia’s food insecure and HIV+ community with a warm meal with dignity and compassion.

Volunteers will arrive roughly around 4pm to help set the dining room, pack to-go meals, and prepare for dinner which will start at 5pm.

There are a limited number of slots available so please comment or DM us to secure your slot and receive more information! We look forward to seeing you there!

It was so wonderful getting together and having Bevy’s with the Bishop last night! Thank you to everyone who joined us, and a special thank you to Bishop Penman for spending time with us!

Tonight is the night!!! Join us at 7pm for “Beverages with the Bishop” at Conshohocken Brewing Company Tap Room in Conshy. Come and grab a bevy of your choice and an appetizer as we chat with Bishop Bryan Penman and other Young Adults in and around Philly. Please message us or comment your RSVP so we can get a rough headcount! We look forward to seeing you there!

Gather Philly and Bishop Penman will cover first round of beverages and some appetizers to share.
