6/11/26 - I just received word that I've been elected to a two-year appointment to serve as the new Eastern Region Director for the "Pennsylvania Black Conference on Higher Education!" So excited to serve in this capacity, it's a humbling honor and privilege.

The Pennsylvania Black Conference on Higher Education is a statewide professional organization dedicated to improving postsecondary educational opportunities for African Americans and other underrepresented groups in Pennsylvania. Founded in 1970, it supports students and educators through advocacy, scholarships, and annual conferences. Looking forward to serving the esteemed PBCOHE membership.

On June 9, 2013, one of my greatest life achievements happened, I was ordained as a pastor by the Pennsylvania Eastern Keystone Baptist Association, under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Damone Jones, Sr., PEKBA Moderator and my Senior Pastor at that time - - one of Philly’s most cherished Pastors!

The weight of the pastoral calling and its responsibilities are great, but I PRAISE and THANK God for the privilege and honor to serve in His ministry in this profound servant leader's role. God allowed me the privilege to pastor Greater Enon Missionary Baptist Church for 11 years, thank you LORD! After retiring from that clergy assignment, I currently/actively serve as an Associate Minister at the historic Monumental Baptist Church, under the leadership of Rev. Dr. J. Wendell Mapson, Jr., Senior Pastor!

There's great joy, great happiness, and great stress attached to being an ordained clergyman, but it's an incredible assignment and role I will always esteem and execute with the greatest of respect, love, honor, and diligence.

To God be all the glory! ✝️ 🙏🏾 ❤️ 😊

Sunday, June 7, 2026 - Today was an incredible Men's Day worship experience at Hope Missionary Family Church, 24 Radio Park Lane, Brookhaven, PA, Rev. Laurence Hamm, Senior Pastor!

I was honored to be the guest preacher, and one person committed their life to Jesus! To God be all the glory!

The stars have disappeared, and distant lights are dim, my soul is filled with fears, the seas are breaking in.
