Today, 8/29/26, our ministry hosted a Back-to-School Giveaway and gave out over 90 bookbags filled with school supplies and hygiene packets to children in the Southwest Philadelphia community! 🎒📚

It was a success, and we were so blessed to welcome families from all walks of life, backgrounds, and faiths to come together, have fun, enjoy good food, play games, and win prizes.

A special thank you to Officer Arnold Mitchell, Director of Cops and Kids, and Officer Edith Nixon, Assistant Director, for coming out and speaking to the children about education, safety, law enforcement, and making positive choices.

The 12th District Cops and Kids Program works to build positive relationships between youth and law enforcement through positive activities and mentorship.

The nine Oduwole children have been a part of Officer Mitchell’s Cops & Kids program (12th Police District Southwest Philadelphia 6448 Woodland Avenue) for many years, where we were mentored, encouraged, and given opportunities to grow. Now, as young adults serving our community through our father’s ministry, it was truly a full-circle moment to have Officer Mitchell join us and pour into the next generation just as he once poured into us.

Thank you to everyone who helped and served with us. God bless you all! ❤️🙏🏽
