I have a few people ask about 3rd party donation fees. Yes, there are fees from the online donation platforms. This covers their cost to handle the donation and credit card processing. The non-profit receives the funds less the fees and is responsible for the donation receipt.

Now the PayPal Giving Fund is different from a regular online PayPal donation. When you donation via the fund, they do all the paperwork, cover the fees, and still deposit 100% of the donated funds with 0 fees directly into the charities account. They are a non-profit that does this to help other charities, and your donation receipt is from PayPal Giving Fund. There is a vetting process to be accepted by them, but once accepted, it is a good thing they do for charities.

Yes, we are trusting that they will do right with your donation, but so far, 6 plus years in, they do a great job. I hope this answers some of your questions. Thank you all for giving to C*C.

The team that was supposed to provide the meal for today's dinner was unable to cover it, so we picked up some food, and the meal will be served today! If anyone would like to donate to help cover the $450 cost today, that would be a blessing.
