Last Sunday, we celebrated the 4th Sunday of Lent—a beautiful and meaningful moment in our Lenten journey. It was especially powerful to spend time with the prisoners, sharing faith, hope, and the reminder that God’s love reaches every heart, in every place. Seeing their openness, strength, and spirit was truly moving for all of us.
The 4th Sunday of Lent, also known as Laetare Sunday, is a time of joy and encouragement as we reach the midpoint of Lent. It reminds us that even in sacrifice and reflection, there is hope, light, and the promise of new life ahead.
At St. Philip Neri Parish, we are grateful for moments like these that bring our community closer together and deepen our faith. Thank you to everyone who helped make this day so special. Let us continue our Lenten journey with open hearts, compassion for others, and trust in God’s mercy.
