Today, we honor Juneteenth—a day that commemorates freedom, resilience, and the enduring pursuit of justice.
As people of faith, we give thanks for those who persevered through unimaginable hardship and for the generations who have continued the work of building a more just and loving world. We celebrate the rich contributions, history, and culture of the Black community, and we recommit ourselves to living out Christ's call to love our neighbors, seek justice, and walk humbly with God.
May this day be one of remembrance, gratitude, learning, and hope.
Happy Juneteenth. ❤️🖤💚
