Don't seek salvation as an escape. When you truly connect with Christ, you'll see your own imperfections. He holds up a mirror, forcing introspection before looking at others. This process of being broken down to be built up is the real work.

Some people claim they left church because of me. Are you really leaving for people, or for God? True faith means not letting a servant of the Most High run you out of your spiritual home. You are a worm, but you have faith.

If you dislike seeing your flaws or experiencing life-changing events, perhaps Christ isn't for you. He's a catalyst for transformation; you can't encounter Him and remain the same. Sometimes, God reveals our 'duckish' ways, like Tyler Perry said, if it walks and quacks like a duck, it's a duck.
