Inner City Missions - Kensington Ave We wanted all ICM folks to have a place to stay connected!! Pastor Frank Vega is not willing to sit still while there is a hurting world out there.

Pastor Frank Vega, founder and executive director of Inner City Missions, states that Matthew 25:35-40 clarifies his purpose and vision. The following is a portion of that passage: “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me” (Mat

thew 25: 35-36 NIV). He believes that we together can carry the light. We can shine the life changing truth of the Gospel. Inner City Missions serves Philadelphia’s low income neighborhoods. It provides inner city families the stability, training, and opportunity to obey Jesus Christ’s great commission. Jesus Christ’s mandate is given in Matthew 28:18-20: “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” God wants all Christians to fulfill this commandment.

My Father was a great man. Far from perfect yet was able to be used by God to lead a powerful ministry in the inner city of Philadelphia. He touched lives all around the world because of his selflessness and his heart for the people. He wanted to see the broken be whole again and souls won for the kingdom. He often took on projects that were too much for one man with a very small team. To everyone’s surprise things got done. Lives were changed, souls were won and though it might’ve consumed him at the time…it was all for the Glory of God. I feel since his early demise there’s a shadow in Kensington where there once was light. It has also taken a toll on my family. He was the glue and the reason we all had a reason to get dressed up from time to time. Ministers and ministries were birthed because this man they once called Crazy decided to turn his life around and follow Jesus Christ and make him Lord of his life. His legacy continues as well as his ministry not at the capacity or with the steam it once had but, what do I know I’m Just Crazy JR praying that one day I can make that decision to turn from my wicked ways humble myself and pray. Maybe one day I will have the pleasure of my off spring telling stories of how I loved God and his people and what a difference was made in this world for the better. Gods will be done. With all this said I just wanted to say Daddy I miss you so much. We all do!!! Rest well good and faithful servant. From Crazy to Bishop Frank Vega Jr God is so good. If He did it for you I’m sure He will do it for me in Jesus name. Amen

Daddy I would love to keep your legacy alive and pick up where you left over i just feel like God has got a different way of working through me!!! You did a great job and you were the best even to the end! your son Frankie.
