Mixed emotions saturate our hearts as we celebrate our youth who graduated high school and are walking into the next chapter of life with the armor of God, and blessings of our church. *Jaelyn Dockery (children’s church assistant), *Isaiah Jay- Matlock, *Matthew Hatcher; and Abdul Delgado (middle school graduate entering High School), we also celebrated our youth who moved up to kindergarten through various grade school levels,- we agree with Psalms 75:6 promotion comes from God, we your church family are praying:Numbers 6:24-26 for peace, Psalm 121:7-8 for protection, and Isaiah 54:13 for wisdom and peace. Much congratulations and love to each and everyone of our youth whom God has allowed us to be a part of their lives.🕊️🙏🏿

Excitement, jubilation and illumination as we just completed our action packed 2026 week of VBS, 5 impactful evenings of new friendships, fun learning , much joy & laughter, as we engaged in one another’s life story, and how our light shines brighter because of Jesus. We learned about ( John 8:12)-JESUS the promised son, God‘s perfect son, the powerful son , the proven son, & God’s plan for forgiveness . If you missed it God willing you won’t miss next year. hope to see ya @2027 VBS🕊️🙏🏿

The Ladies of St. John Memorial Baptist Church held their 4th annual “Empowerment Tea Party“ the weather outside was cool, cloudy & rainy, but inside the church walls was sunshine, warmth and joy. Tables were personally & colorfully decorated, ages 2 to 92 were represented dressed in their finest tea party attire, buffet table menu was a welcomed delight to satisfy one’s craving appetite, and the Word of God presented by Pastor Trenis of “Jones Family Affair Ministries “ refueled our spiritual soul. If you missed us this year, Lord willing we will see you next year at our 5th Empowerment Tea party.

Good Friday preaching the good news of Christ along Broad Street in Philly, gave us the opportunity to meet, share, talk with a lot of wonderful Philly folks, we invited them to meet us at 3pm @ St. John Memorial Baptist Church for a more intimate fellowship- and many did. We shared testimonies, prayer, a delicious hot meal, we had food giveaway, gift cards, fresh produce, love and the greatest conclusion of the matter was more of the word of Christ…you can never get enough of our Jesus.
