Church of The Second Coming of Christ Pastor Vernon E. Hicks was a licensed Minister in 1990
by Rev. Preston Walker.. After leaving Divine Mission Yahweh instructed him to begin his church.

Pastor Hicks was ordained on October 16,1992 by the late
O Berry Clark Pastor of Greater Saint Luke Disciple Church in Philadelphia. He later joined Divine Mission church as the Assistant Pastor under the Late Ella Jones. which he began in his home for over 9 years. As of today He has opened his own church on June 6, 2010.
