United Churches Fellowship United Churches Fellowship was founded by the late Bishop James H. Mobley and the late Bishop William Hathaway. One year following his demise, Elder Harry W.

During a hospital stay, Bishop Mobley received the following revelation from God: Small churches are falling through the cracks and are not being recognized by larger churches. Souls are dying...and God has said, "Gather my people." The leader of a small church himself, Bishop Mobley was acutely aware of the lack of support, limited resources, and separation experienced because of the independence

of small congregations. Bishop Mobley shared his vision with Bishop Hathaway, Pastor of Refuge for the Perishing Holy Temple of Bristol, PA on Saturday, November 11, 1995. He gained Bishop Hathaway's immediate and full support. That day, the United Churches Fellowship was born. Bishop Mobley also shared his vision with pastors of other small congregations including Bishop David Graham, Shepherdess Linnie Jones, Pastor Wendell Robbins, and Pastor Joe Williams, all of whom united themselves with this ministry. Joel 2:16 is the foundation for the vision of United Churches Fellowship. The major goals include:
Winning lost souls for the Kingdom
Promoting worship and fellowship
Becoming a ministry of helps
Uniting to help other small churches
Serving and co-laboring with one another
Promoting Christ

Bishop James Mobley went on to be with the Lord on August 29, 1997. Pendleton, Sr., Pastor of Faith and Love Center Pentecostal Church, was consecrated as the Presiding Bishop of the United Churches Fellowship. The vision yet lives today.
