The Basilica Shrine will observe a special schedule on Monday, September 7, in honor of Labor Day.

Join us for the Perpetual Novena and Holy Mass at 9 a.m. and 12:05 p.m. The 12:05 p.m. Mass will also be livestreamed.

📢 The Basilica Shrine will close after the 12:05 p.m. Novena and Mass.

📢 Madonna Art Museum tours will not be available on Labor Day.

On December 8, 1930, Fr. Joseph Skelly, CM, began the Monday tradition of the Miraculous Medal Perpetual Novena. Nearly a century later, the faithful gather at the Basilica Shrine seeking comfort, grace, and blessings from Our Blessed Mother.

This free event includes Mass in the Crypt Chapel, a tour of the Madonna Art Museum, and step-by-step painting instruction from an artist. Supplies, beverages, and snacks are included, along with secure parking onsite.

All are invited to The Basilica Shrine of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal today, September 4, the First Friday of the month, to take part in our 12:05 p.m. Mass followed by the praying of the Divine Mercy Chaplet.

We also encourage you to light a candle in honor of the Jesus and his Divine Mercy in person on online. When you light a candle at the Basilica Shrine, take a moment to slow down and relish the peaceful moment and reflect upon Our Lord’s presence, seek his grace, and offer heartfelt thanks for His mercy and forgiveness.
