This past Sunday, our missions team members gave a presentation on their upcoming trip to Cairo! Our volunteers cooked a delicious Egyptian meal, and we got to hear about the Tenth Missions focus on planting churches abroad and raising up indigenous leaders and pastors. We can't wait to hear how the trip went in late November, so keep your eyes open for the debrief luncheon!

We are getting more and more excited for our Global Outreach Conference with Sugel Michelen November 6-8. Listen in as Sugel shares the cost of discipleship, a topic he will expound upone when with us at Tenth.
So what Jesus is saying to people,"If anyone wants to come after me, let him take his electric chair and follow me; if anyone wants to come after me, let him take his cross and follow me." That is what Jesus is saying. This is the true discipleship we will be talking about this week.

Campus Connection: This month, our Playgroup ministry started back up, and we've had quite the attendance of little ones and their caretakers from our neighborhood! Please be in prayer for these families, and our staff and volunteers, as they show the love of Christ and find ways to share the gospel with our neighbors.

"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth." --Acts 1:8

Campus Connection: This past Saturday, we hosted for their Seminary on Saturday event. It was an amazing morning of learning from their professors on the presence of Jesus in all of scripture and how that theological viewpoint shapes our entire faith and hope of the Gospel. Keep an eye out for the recorded lectures, up on our site later this month!

This Thursday, please consider joining us for a prayer meeting in the sanctuary. We have a number of prayer needs in our congregation, so please come for a time of prayer and fellowship as the body of Christ, lifting each other up.

We are getting more and more excited for our Global Outreach Conference with Sugel Michelen November 6-8. Listen in as he speaks on the Samaritan woman. // Estamos cada vez más entusiasmados por nuestra Conferencia de Alcance Global con Sugel Michelén, que se llevará a cabo del 6 al 8 de noviembre. Escucha su mensaje sobre la mujer samaritana.
"The Samaritan woman didn’t have to take a discipleship course or an evangelism course before telling everyone in the town, “Come and see a man who told me everything I’ve ever done.” In John 4:39, we see that through the testimony of this woman who probably didn’t even know how to read or write. Many Samaritans from that city believed in Jesus. My brother, preach the gospel. You don’t know what God is going to do with that net. It’s His responsibility, and your responsibility is go into the oceans, seek out sinners, and cast the net of the gospel."
