Thank you to everyone who came out and supported the Walking In Grace Women’s Conference 2026! We are so grateful for every woman who attended, served, prayed, gave, and helped make this year’s conference so special. What a blessing it was to come together, grow in our faith, and encourage one another! ✨

We are so excited about tomorrow! Please be in prayer over this event and the speakers. We have had a few people ask if a meal is being provided. A brunch style meal will be provided Saturday by City Limits/Yates Downtown. We are so thankful this local business is providing this meal for Walking In Grace Women’s Conference.

🌟Speaker Spotlight🌟
We are so excited to have Barbie Bassett join us this weekend!
Barbie Bassett most recently was WLBT’s Morning News Anchor and its first chief meteorologist in its 70-year history. A graduate of Mississippi College with a degree in Mass Communications, Barbie also graduated with a Master’s Degree from Mississippi State University in Broadcast Meteorology. She holds the Seal of Approval from the American Meteorological Society and has been voted numerous times as “Best Weathercaster” from the Associated Press, “Best TV Personality” by the readers of the Clarion Ledger, the Jackson Free Press and Mississippi Magazine. She was also named the Agriculture Ambassador for the Mississippi Farm Bureau Federation, given the “Angel Award” from the Salvation Army, and Goodwill Industries honored her as an “Outstanding Volunteer” in the community.

Barbie sits on 8 different boards of directors, is a Sustaining Member of the Junior League of Jackson, a Life Member of the Junior Auxiliary of Madison County, teaches Sunday school at Colonial Heights Baptist Church, leads a monthly Bible study in her neighborhood, and sings on the Praise Team every Sunday. She’s a former Mrs. Mississippi, is a pianist, opera singer and ventriloquist. Over the years, Barbie has been recognized with over 100 awards for her work in Mississippi and beyond.

Adding to this list, Barbie is a conference and retreat speaker, and a best-selling author with her first two books, and she’s currently writing her third book. You can hear her each week on the popular “Y’all Listen Here” found on Facebook and on other podcast providers.

Barbie is the Founder of Ellie MD telemedicine company and owns “Good News Candle Company.” She enjoys spending time on the family farm and homeschooling her three teenagers, affectionately referred to over the years as the Bassett hounds.

🌟🌟🌟The conference is this weekend! 🌟🌟🌟
We are so grateful for all the support we have received.
The conference will begin This Friday at 6:30pm - 9:00pm. And again on Saturday 9:00 am - 1:00 pm.

🎟️ Ticket info: If you bought a ticket online or in person, your name will be on the list at the door! If you bought online, it will be under whosever name the ticket was purchased under! (Even if it was multiple tickets)

🚗 Please allow plenty of time to park and get inside. The doors will open an hour before the conference begins both days. (More info on parking will be coming soon)

🎁 Vendors- you should be receiving an email with info in the next 24 hours. If you have not received one by Thursday morning, please reach out!

🫶 Don’t forget the opportunity to bring items for The Shepherd's Home and be entered into a drawing for the giveaway! The item list will be pinned at the top of the conference page!

Amy Brown is a wife, author, speaker, artist, and bag maker who loves using her creativity to encourage others. At the heart of her story is a simple truth she believes deeply: God doesn’t make mistakes, and He has created each of us with a purpose.

Amy’s life has given her a unique perspective on what it means to trust God’s plan, embrace the way He created us, and discover purpose in places we may not have expected.
