Bishop Gabriel S. Lardner Sr. taught from the story of the disciples on the road to Emmaus, showing how easy it is to miss what God is doing when our perspective is clouded.

The disciples had heard about the resurrection, yet they were still discouraged and confused because they were focused on the events of Friday. Even while Jesus walked with them, they did not recognize Him. Their disappointment and misunderstanding kept them from seeing the truth right in front of them.

The message highlights how misunderstanding can lead to disappointment, doubt, and discouragement. When we are overwhelmed by past pain or unmet expectations, we can become spiritually blind, even when God is near.

Everything changed when they invited Jesus in. As He broke bread with them, their eyes were opened, and they realized He had been with them the entire time.

This message reminds us that Jesus is always near, but we must invite Him into our hearts and allow Him to open our eyes. When our perspective shifts, we move from confusion to clarity and from discouragement to renewed faith.

Bishop Gabriel S. Lardner Sr. reminded us that God is not only concerned with our spiritual activity, but with the transformation of our minds. Prayer, fasting, and worship matter, but if the mind is not renewed, life can remain stuck in the same cycles.

The message showed that many of the battles we face are tied to belief systems shaped by failure, culture, past experiences, association, and limited exposure. These things can build strongholds and keep people trapped in fear, poverty, mediocrity, and generational patterns. But the Word of God has the power to break those strongholds and renew the way we think.

True transformation happens when we allow God to change our mindset. A renewed mind sees differently, believes differently, and responds differently. It stops accepting limitation as normal and begins to agree with what God says.

This message was a call to let God transform us from the inside out, so we can become better versions of ourselves and agents of change in our homes, communities, and generations.

A MAN ON FIRE
Scripture: Matthew 4:18–20

Today Bishop Gabriel S. Lardner Sr. taught about Peter, a man the Lord transformed from an ordinary fisherman into a bold witness who shook nations.

Jesus met Peter in the middle of his everyday work and gave him one clear invitation: “Come, follow me, and I will make you…” That statement was the heart of the message. Jesus was showing us the difference between creation and making. God can create, but making is a process. Peter had a trade, skills, a routine, and even a temperament, but Jesus said, “I will make you.” That means God is not only calling us, He is forming us.

The Bible says Peter and Andrew immediately left their nets. They didn’t delay. They didn’t negotiate. They trusted the voice that called them. And Bishop reminded us that many times God will not use what we already know. He will use what we don’t know to take us where we must go. Sometimes the call of God requires a shift in direction, even when what you are doing has been paying you and sustaining you.

Peter’s story also shows that God can use people who are imperfect. Peter could be emotional, rash, and quick-tempered, but he stayed close to Jesus. That closeness produced revelation, growth, humility, and transformation. Peter learned to accept correction, submit to process, and allow God to deal with his weakness so God could release real power through his life.

The result was a man on fire. The same Peter who once doubted and reacted in the flesh became the Peter who stood up and preached, and thousands were saved. That is what the Holy Spirit does. The fire is not for noise. The fire is for purpose, impact, and souls.

The question is simple: Have you answered the call?
Jesus is still saying, “Come, follow me, and I will make you.”

The Pattern Will Not Continue – Genesis 17:1–16

God reveals Himself as El Shaddai, the One who has the power to break cycles and establish a new covenant. What once defined your past does not have permission to shape your future when you walk faithfully before Him. Just as Abram became Abraham and Sarai became Sarah, God transforms identity to align with His promise. The old pattern stops where obedience, covenant, and divine promise begin.

Bishop Gabriel S. Lardner Sr. taught from 1 Kings 10:1–10 and showed us how one prayer can shift a whole life. He reminded us that David wanted to build God a temple, but God said no because David’s hands were stained with blood. Still, what David prepared in honor, Solomon completed in purpose. Solomon built the temple and dedicated it to the Lord, and then he prayed a prayer that God loved.

Solomon did not ask for long life, riches, or the downfall of his enemies. He asked for an understanding heart to lead God’s people (1 Kings 3:9). That request pleased God, and God answered beyond what Solomon asked. Wisdom came first, and then honor, favor, and wealth followed.

That is why the Queen of Sheba was drawn to Solomon. She heard about his fame, but not just fame for show. The Bible says she heard of Solomon’s fame concerning the name of the Lord. When she arrived, she saw wisdom, order, excellence, and the glory of God in how Solomon’s house and leadership were established. She admitted that what she heard was only half. What she saw was greater.

Bishop Lardner called it more than wisdom. He called it the God factor. The God factor is what makes the difference. It announces you even when you are not present. It attracts doors, favor, increase, and honor you did not chase. It causes people to bless you because they can see God’s hand on your life.

The message was a call to seek God first, not as a religious routine, but as the foundation of every step. Education, beauty, connections, and talent can impress for a moment, but they can always be outdone. The God factor cannot be duplicated. When God is in it, your today will not be worse than your yesterday. You will move from glory to glory.

The prayer for this year is simple. Lord, let the God factor be evident in my life.

Bishop Gabriel S. Lardner Sr. released a timely word from Mark 4:35–41, reminding us that God can bring a divine instruction even when it feels like the day is closing. Jesus waited until evening to say, “Let us pass over to the other side,” teaching that some breakthroughs are not announced in the morning or the afternoon. Some things unfold in the evening, and God still moves when the light feels low.

The Bishop highlighted that when God is taking someone into a new season, not everyone can go with them. Before the crossing, the multitude was sent away, because transition requires focus. Yet even after obeying Jesus, a great storm arose. The waves beat into the ship until it was full, showing that obedience does not cancel storms. Sometimes obedience is what triggers opposition.

A key revelation was that the storm was targeted. Other little ships were present, but the attack centered on the ship carrying Jesus. When a life carries Christ and is headed toward purpose, resistance can intensify. The disciples, though experienced fishermen, faced a storm beyond what they had handled before. That is often what happens when God is elevating someone. The pressure increases, the fear rises, and the situation feels unfamiliar.

In the middle of it all, Jesus was asleep. Bishop taught that God is never unaware. Even when it looks like heaven is silent, God is still present, still watching, and still in control. The disciples did the one thing that mattered. They went back to where Jesus was. When the storm would not stop, they turned to the One who has authority over it.

This message was a call to remember where the presence of God is, return there in crisis, and trust that the “evening instruction” still carries power. When the storm is raging, the answer is not panic. The answer is presence.

The Presence of God Almighty

Psalms 16:11

Bishop Gabriel S. Lardner expresses the necessity of having God’s almighty presence. The presence of God can bring speed and blessings, and perfection but most importantly the presence of God should be prioritized because it brings true peace, and oneness with Jesus. He explained the urgency of building that desire to seek God diligently publicly and in secret. It must become a craving, a sacrifice and an addiction to meet him endlessly. He is the omnipresent God and shows up when you mention his name. You cannot have the world and God’s presence coinciding with each other. You have to choose him and put away the things that deny you from even reaching his presence. It is important to give him your time if you truly yearn for his presence, where your treasure is where your heart is also, so have the presence of the almighty God.
