Annunciation/Evangelismos Greek Orthodox Church Annunciation/Evangelismos is the 6th-oldest Greek Orthodox Church in the United States. We are celebrating 125 years of Orthodoxy in Philadelphia [1901-2026]

We are located in Elkins Park, a charming northern suburb of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. A parish of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of New Jersey, of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America, under the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople. OUR MISSION is to proclaim the gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, sanctify the faithful through worship and the holy sacraments, live the Orthodox

Christian Faith, grow the church by inviting and receiving new members, and serve humanity through Christ-centered ministries. OUR VISION is to be a loving, caring, and welcoming community, the light of Jesus Christ to the whole world, “a city set on a hill” (Matthew 5:14), where all belong and grow in the Orthodox Christian Faith through worship, witness, fellowship, and service to others.

Attention ALL Annunciation parishioners!!! Come march with us at this year’s Greek Independence Day Parade in Philadelphia next Sunday, April 26th. There’s nothing like coming together to honor our heritage, Ζητώ η Ελλάς!
