“Twisted Together with God”
Good morning! I love you and I am praying for you today! The Hebrew word for “wait upon” means to bind together, or to twist around each other making one. When we wait upon the Lord, we are twisted together with God and we learn that God never grows weary and never faints, therefore, we are renewed in our mind and sustained in our faith believing God at our most vulnerable moment. “Lord, teach us to wait upon you and know that we will be kept.” “Yet those who wait for the LORD Will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary.” (Isaiah 40:31 NASB)PRL

“Persistently Trusting God”
Good morning! I love you and I am praying for you today! We must be willing to live in the power of the never-failing promises of God without doubting. “Lord, help us to persistently trust what your Word says even when it doesn’t make sense.” “Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see.” (Hebrews 11:1 NLT)PRL

Our theme for the month of June is “Sustaining Faith:
“Trusting No One Else”
Good morning! I love you and I am praying for you today! When we fail to put forth our best effort to hear God and to trust God to keep us, we miss out on God’s demonstration of His power, provisions and His wisdom. “Lord, develop in us a child-like faith that guarantees our total unwavering trust in your ability to perpetually order our steps.” “Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.” (Proverbs 3:5-6 NLT)PRL

“God’s Unlimited Pursuit”
Good morning! I love you and I am praying for you today! When our genuine fellowship with the Lord is broken because of our bad choices, the Lord wants access to our hearts so that your heart can be restored, your hearing refreshed, and your life renewed. “Lord, thank you for being persistent as you stand at the door of our heart, and not walking away and giving up on us.”
“Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me.” (Revelation 3:20 NASB)PRL

James: The Proverbs of the New Testament
A life of prayer produces a life of witness.
Does our faith reflect Christ with a servant's attitude?
Is your character in Christ always on duty?

Good evening JMBC family and friends! Here is the prayer calendar for June. The monthly theme is Sustaining Faith. Sustained faith is not just about having faith, but rather it's about actively maintaining that faith when we're in the midst of some of our hardest challenges. It's also about intentionally practicing those spiritual disciplines that will reinforce and deepen our faith.

Join us for Worship on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at 10:15 AM EST, in person or by livestream, as our Pastor, Rev. Dr. Paul R. Lee, ministers “The Proper Attitude and Response to Adversity” from James 1:1–4.

In a season of pressure, uncertainty, and personal challenges, this Word will encourage us to examine how we respond when adversity shows up. Is our character in Christ still on duty? Are we responding with fear, frustration, or faithful endurance?

Come be strengthened, challenged, and encouraged through the Word of God.

Come expecting. Leave empowered. We can’t wait to worship with you!

“Believing God is Able”
Good morning! I love you and I am praying for you today! We too often limit God, but we can depend on God accomplishing without limits more than what we ask or think, working it in us and through us. “Lord, help us to believe that you will accomplish what needs to be done, what you want done, and what we ask to be done!” “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.” (Ephesians 3:20 NKJV)PRL

“Embracing What God Says is Good”
Good morning! I love you and I am praying for you today! When we have missed the mark by practicing the rituals of religion we must commit our hearts to what pleases Him. “Lord, teach us to obey and embrace what is good.” “No, O people, the LORD has told you what is good, and this is what he requires of you: to do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.” (Micah 6:8 NLT)PRL
