Think of Prayer like this. The simplest way to put it is talking to God. It is a direct address to God in a thousand ways. It is a relationship with God that we have through Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Prayer is a privilege and is powerful.

Last Sunday night, during a time of prayer and prophecy, Joe stepped out and was vulnerable with his church. Exposing that he has been struggling with anxiety. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Without hesitation his brothers immediately surround him, each spoke truth over him. Laying hands and prophesying the truth Jesus over him. It is amazing how when you are honest with the people around you, the Lord moves through them to speak to you. But you need to lean in to being honest with the Lord so you can absorb HIS strength. Because he longs to give that to us all the time. Every day we have the chance to do this⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

All of us are called to show and teach people how to follow Jesus in their daily lives. At work, school, family, sleep, eating, drinking etc etc. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

There is a brand new way to live once you are saved, and everyone needs to be shown it. The way, is Jesus, so we show people how to live as he lived, to learn from him. In the end, discipleship is a lifelong process with others constantly getting closer and more obedient to Jesus.
