Beacon Beacon strengthens our local community, its children and neighbors, through faith, art, and storytel

An open and welcoming community, Beacon aims to cultivate community through arts, storytelling, and faith. We gather for worship every Sunday at 5pm, with a service that is open and affirming to all, family-friendly, and approachable. On the first Sunday of every month we have a community meal after worship, all are invited. We offer non-religious programming that is reflective of the needs and in

terests of the neighborhood--these programs have included urban gardening, after school programs, youth mentoring, art workshops, story-telling meals and workshops, and youth hip-hop writing, to name a few.
