St. James sends a birthday shout out to Sister Brittany Nunn on her birthday!!! She was born 33 years ago during Holy Convocation time and has been raised in the fear and admonition of the Lord. As a result, she knows where all of her help comes from which is from THE LORD! Enjoy your day Brittany and may the Lord bless you with many more birthdays.

Approximately 35 years ago, the late Bishop Amy B. Stevens saw the Lord’s calling on his life, and confirmed what God already told him…that God called him to be consecrated as a deacon. Deacon Jackson has not only served in God’s kingdom as the Chairman of the Deacon board in Mt. Olive at one point, but he has consistently supported leadership, he has been great with assisting his pastors with holy communion, he has also been an excellent steward with the things of God, keeping the church tidy, visiting widows, and so much more. In addition, he has been a Sunday School teacher, Bible Study teacher and a preacher of the gospel for years as well. He’s already ordained, but today Deacon Jackson officially became a licensed minister to do what he’s spent many years already doing. Praise God for Minister Richard Jackson.
