Good Morning Beloveds,
This is our 9th day of our Lenten journey. This morning's word is "PROCESS."

Genesis 37: 23-24, " When Joseph reached his brothers, they ripped off the fancy coat he was wearing, grabbed him, and threw him into a cistern. The cistern was dry; there wasn’t any water in it."

Process is a verb. It's intentional steps to change actions, stages to get to an expected goal, it's steps to achieve an expected end. Process has an end in mind. Process brings about change for preservation. PROCESS! Yes, it can be harsh because it changes things and depending on who or what it can be ugly before it gets pretty. Process can change the functionality of a thing or to a thing. PROCESS is not for the faint at heart. It's difficult because once you're in the process you cannot stop the process. PROCESS changes you and thoughts and actions. It's a series and not a one time event.

Let us consider Joseph. Joseph was the son of Israel (Jacob). As a matter of fact, he was his father's favorite son and Joseph knew he was favored. He was young, 17 years old and immature. He was a snitch if you will and his brothers had issues with him. He was also gifted. I would suggest that Joseph was not niave or innocent. He was 17, favored, a snitch, and a dreamer. Joseph had character flaws. As the story would go, his brothers striped him of his coat of favor. This represents the striping process. They put him in a cistern (pit). The cistern represents a place of humility, PROCESS.

Process is difficult but it's necessary for where God was taking him. Joseph could not show up at the Palace immature, show up as a snitch, and gifted. He would have gotten in the way of purpose.

Beloveds, God cannot allow us to get in the way of purpose. God allowed Joseph's brothers to put him in the pit. God allowed him to be sold into salvery. God allowed him to meet Pharaoh and his wife Potipher. God allowed Potipher to lie and have him thrown into jail. God allowed him to meet the other jailers and God allowed him to be ruler over Pharaoh's land so that he would be in a position to save a nation. All of this was a process to prepare him to preserve a nation for a purpose. PROCESS!

Father help us in those hard places in our life. We thank you for the times of process that has produced righteousness, maturity and healing. Father thank You for positioning us to be used for Your glory in Jesus name. Amen

Good Morning Beloveds,
Today marks our 8th day of our Lenten journey. This morning's word is "Franchise!"

Isaiah 42:8 (MSG), "I am God. That’s my name.
I don’t franchise my glory,
don’t endorse the no-god idols."

While spending time reading and listening to the Father this morning, The word "FRANCHISE" stood out to me. So I started to look the word up.

Franchise an authorization granted by a government or company to an individual or group enabling them to carry out specified commercial activities, e.g., providing a broadcasting service or acting as an agent for a company's products. Just that quick, the Lord showed me what's happening in our churches today. Some have tried to manufacture God's glory. We have tried to build on God's credit without His authorization. We have attempted to be God's agents without license or authority. The church somehow has tried to franchise the glory of God through performance and no power to save, no power to heal, and no power to deliver. We have titles but no fruit. We have vestments but no holiness. God does not franchise His glory. He doesn't share His glory.

In this season, God is calling us to true righteousness. He wants pure and authentic relationship with the church. It's time to do something new! It's time to live right and well for God himself has called us His own. He himself has redeemed us and He alone has kept us. He has preserved us for such a time as this to be light in the darkness, to be hope for the hopeless, to bind the people to Him and not ourselves. He has taken responsibility for us because He created us to bring Him glory and honor.

Only God can fulfill the promises laid out in His Holy Word. We must be pliable, available, and obedient to His will. We must be humble and submissive to His way.

The Good News is that we have benefits for being the church. We have promises laid up for us and we have a God to glorify for He alone is capable, worthy and no one else can fulfill promises or purpose but Him.
He is God and He can never be duplicated; nor, His glory be FRANCHISED.

Father in this season, bring your church back into alignment. Let us take hold of righteousness and healing through our hearts and minds. We pray that your name will be glorified in the earth. We thank You for Your grace and mercy. We thank You for restoration and open doors in Jesus name, amen!

Good Morning Beloveds,
We are in the 7th day of our Lenten journey. Our thought for today is "Examine Your Motives!"

Eccless. 12:14 For God will bring every act to judgment, everything which is hidden, whether it is good or evil.

To examine something is to take a closer look. It is the process of investigating thoroughly. To test, prove, with expectation. To discern a thing. Often our motives leads to action. Our motives are the intent of our heart. We must examine our motives in order to align with the purpose of God's plan for our life. Motives are the hidden things of the heart. God looks at that which is not seen with the natural eye. We most honestly investigate why we do what we do. Is what we are doing for the glory of God or for the praise of man. Our pride will lead us in judgment of others instead of examining ourselves and uncovering those hidden secrets of our heart. We want to be light to those in darkness. The purpose, designs, and intentions of our heart will be known on the day of Jesus return. We want to be truth to those who walk in falsehood and we want to be blameless when Jesus returns. We do not want to be quilty of harsh judgment of others. When Jesus comes, He will expose
the hidden secrets and the motives of the heart. We will not receive a reward but a praise from God because of the acts that are done with a pure heart, faithfulness, and right motives.

Beloved examine your motives.

Abba as we reflect on this 7th day of Lent help us to honestly investigate our motives so that we are not a hindrance to the movement of Your will in our lives. Help us see the intention of our hearts. We want to be more like You in Jesus name.
