APPLICATIONS

l. Just as the Jews sought to order temple worship according tso "the Book of Moses' (Ezra 6:18), we must seek to worship in the manner prescribed by God. We should not attempt to develop a style of worship that draws the approval of men, for man is not being worshiped. Our worship should glorify God. This occurs only when we worship as He has prescribed (John 4:24).

2. The emphasis placed upon observing the Passover after the completion of the temple reminds us of the importance of remembering what God has done for us. Although we tend to glory in our achievements, our accomplishments pale in com- parison to God's. This is why weekly observation of the Lord's Supper is vital. When we partake of the supper, we focus on the death of Christ rather than upon ourselves
