Most people can name a few HBCUs but have never heard of the one that trained a huge share of the country's Black ministers. 📖 In 1958, several Black seminaries in Atlanta joined forces to create the Interdenominational Theological Center, or ITC.

Sitting inside the Atlanta University Center, ITC brought together Baptist, Methodist, AME, and CME schools under one roof, and grew into one of the largest African American theological centers anywhere. ⛪ For generations, the pulpits across Black Georgia and far beyond were filled by people trained there.

Behind a lot of the preachers you have heard is a school you probably have not. Had you ever heard of ITC before today?

Maybe this is for you. Maybe it’s for a friend. Maybe you just need a friend. Maybe you’re tired. Maybe you feel alone. Maybe you need encouragement.
