Pray over all situations!
When King Hezekiah received a threatening letter, Scripture says he took it to the temple and “spread it out before the Lord.” 2 Kings 19:14 📖
I love that.🙌
He didn’t pretend the threat wasn’t real.🚫
He didn’t deny what had been written.🚫
👉 He placed the situation before God and prayed honestly about what he was facing!
⚠️ Prayer doesn’t prevent us from seeking wise counsel or taking appropriate action.💯
It simply means we don’t have to form every conclusion, make every decision, or carry every fear without first talking to God.🙏
Maybe we need to do the same with the message, diagnosis, bill, decision, or frustrating conversation we keep replaying…
We can acknowledge what is happening without assuming we already know how the entire story will unfold.
Before we determine what it all means, we can spread it before the Lord.🤎✝️
