Grace Lutheran Church NALC

Grace Lutheran Church NALC Grace Lutheran Church is a congregation of the North American Lutheran Church (NALC)

As a NALC church, we embrace the following core values:

Christ-Centered
We confess the apostolic faith in Jesus Christ according to the Holy Scriptures. We affirm the authority of the Scriptures as the authoritative source and norm, “according to which all doctrines should and must be judged” (Formula of Concord). We accept the ecumenical creeds and the Lutheran Confessions as true witnesses to

the Word of God

Mission-Driven
We believe that the mission of the Church is to preach the Gospel and to make disciples for Christ. We believe that making disciples — in our congregations, in our communities and nations, and around the world — must be a priority of the Church in the present age. Traditionally-Grounded
We affirm the ecumenical creeds and the faithful witness of the Church across time and space. We endorse the form and practices of the universal Church that are consistent with Scripture, particularly the office of the ministry and the tradition of worship under Word and Sacrament. We seek dialogue and fellowship with other Lutheran churches and with faithful Christians of other confessions. Congregationally-Focused
We strive to be a church that is organized to facilitate the ministries of local congregations in a posture of servant-hood and a spirit of partnership, through the provision of resources, connections and information.

Notice to all Members, Friends, and Neighbors of Grace Lutheran Church:

You may have seen this sign posted on the property behind our church building. We want to clarify that this sign was NOT posted by Grace Lutheran Church, as that property is not owned by our congregation.

Families and children who are respectful of our church property are always welcome to enjoy our playground and gazebo garden, and we want our neighbors to know that everyone is welcome at our church.

Thank you for helping us spread the word and for being good neighbors ✝️ 🙏

Each time we get into our cars, ride our motorcycles, or go on vacation in our RVs, we put ourselves in God’s hands. Whether we realize it or not, our vehicles are a big part of our lives; the average American spends roughly 300 hours behind the wheel every year. And as Christians, we recognize how every journey is taken under the Lord’s care.

For over a millennium, Christians have gathered to pray for safe travels and give thanks for the gift of transportation on the Feast of St. Christopher. This year, join us at Grace Lutheran Church as we celebrate the Feast of St. Christopher with a special service of blessing the vehicles God has given us. Bring your car, truck, motorcycle, or any other vehicle as we ask the Lord to grant safety, patience, and peace to all those who travel.

All are welcome to come; for any vehicle you are unable to bring, you may bring keys with you to receive a blessing.

In the meantime, God’s peace…and safe travels! 🙏 🚗
