WHAT ARE YOU DOING THIS SUNDAY?

We fill our weekends with routines, to-do lists, screen time, and plans that will not mean much by Monday. But what if this Sunday could be different? What if this Sunday could change the rest of your life?

It’s not a goodbye, it’s a sending.

Today, we celebrate Pastor Kent and Ellen’s last Sunday with us before they move to Kansas, with grateful hearts for all God has done through them and anticipation for all He has prepared for them in this next season.

They have served faithfully, loved deeply, and carried the heart of Christ among us. Today, we gather not just to say thank you, but to bless them, pray over them, and send them with love.

Pastor Kent and Ellen, we are grateful for you. You go with our prayers, our blessing, and our love.

What does it mean to be truly seen?

Not noticed from a distance.
Not measured by your performance.
Not reduced to your past, your wounds, your failures, or your usefulness.

Seen by God.

In Ezra 5, God’s people are rebuilding in the middle of pressure, resistance, and uncertainty. And right in the middle of the story, Scripture says, “the eye of their God was on them.”

That one line becomes the doorway into this summer’s journey.

Beginning May 24, we are starting an 8-week sermon series called **SEEN: A People Becoming Visible to God and to the World.**

Together, we will walk through three movements:

God sees us.
We see God.
We cling to Jesus and reach the world.

From Ezra 5 to Pentecost, from Hagar in the wilderness to the Father at the door, from beholding Christ to abiding in Him, this series is an invitation to live as people who are no longer hiding, no longer striving, and no longer invisible.

You are seen.
You are loved.
You are called.
And because God sees us, we can become a people who see others with the eyes of Jesus.

It is about what has your attention, your time, and your heart. What do you have a grip on, or better yet, what has a grip on you?
