rarely spoke, struggled with
your class, and hit them with

Do you have a heart for people with special needs? Are you a Christ follower? If so then we may have the perfect free time opportunity for you!

You may ask yourself, why volunteer? You may be thinking, “I have so much on my plate”, or, “how can I volunteer when I need the support myself?”.

God calls all to serve! We also completely understand the need to be able to work, or take care of family, or both! That’s why all of our volunteer positions are open to everyone and are very flexible. Only have 30 mins a week? That’s fine! We can help guide you to the perfect opportunity for your schedule and abilities!

Catalyst Ministries is looking for volunteers!

Requirements (Note: you can still volunteer if you don’t meet some of these requirements. Ask how!):
• We prefer that all volunteers are at least 16 years of age or older however this is not a requirement. We have some opportunities for younger kids as well!
• We are looking for Christ followers! This means that you not only strive to follow within Christs footsteps, but to also lead by example, and of course believe in his presence as well as existence!
• We look for people willing to help families with special needs member both mental and physical!

Open Positions (All positions below are volunteer positions meaning you work when you can and want):

• Guidance Center Representative (GCR)
• Pastors
• Guidance Center Manager (GCM)
• Resource Center Representative (RCR)
• Resource Center Manager (RCM)
• Bible Study Host
• Bible Study Support Volunteer

Future openings:
• Outreach Center Representative (OCR)
• Outreach Center Manager (OCM)

What position is right for me?

Here we will show our different sections of our ministry and what each position is needed for!

Guidance Center:
Our guidance center is a team of volunteers wiling and able to help people through tough times! That could mean just in their walk with Christ or maybe they have a special needs kid that has a very big surgery coming up they aren’t prepared for or are worried about. Our volunteers are they to provide emotional and mental support and guidance of steps to take.

Our Guidance Center Manager has some paid opportunity and is not a full time position. Making this a really great opportunity for leadership in this ministry!

Outreach Center:
Our Outreach center is full of volunteers who’s goal is to assist in making partnerships with churches, other ministries, and companies to not only spread the word and be able to reach more families to support but also to hopefully receive more resources to support our current families!

Our Outreach Center Manager has some paid opportunity and is not a full time position making it a great opportunity for leadership in this ministry!

Resource Center:
Our resource center is where families can contact for various resources in our community. This is a really laid back volunteering position as well as one of the most needed positions we have! The resource center team works hard to find resources as well as to the share those resources with our families! They also are in charge of coming up with new resources (example: a program to pay part of a certain kind of therapy) and presenting them to their manager who then bring it up at a Ministry meeting where we would determine if that program would be really beneficial and the logistics of it.

Our Resource Center Manager has some paid opportunity and is not a full time position making it a great opportunity for leadership in this ministry!

As of right now those are the only positions we have either open now or in the future!

Just wanted to post an update to our fellow Christ Followers!

We apologize for the long departure, however we are here to help still via our messenger chat to which we will ensure to respond as soon as possible! The founder of Catalyst Ministries has a full time job at the local Walmart to try to raise some more funds for us to be able to help more families! We are still here though and will always put God first!

On that note we will be creating a way for people to do their offerings online to hopefully make it a little more accessible and hopefully easier for our families as well!

We also are currently looking for more volunteers! We will be posting a separate post shortly with more information on that as well as a reminder of our goal to our ministry!

Finally we wanted to remind everyone following us in our journey to support families with special needs members that we want to ensure everyone also is informed on ways they can help even out in the community. The best way to do that is to share our ministry with family and friends. Even if they don’t believe, just them knowing how to support and treat our families with kindness can go a very long way!

We hope everyone has been doing well and continues to do so! As always please don’t hesitate to ask for help!

Good afternoon, We are still looking for some volunteers to help us out!

What we are looking for:
* Volunteers to help watch and care for people with special needs (Will have to be supervised and go through a series of training)
* Volunteers to help spread the word of our ministry (Either by word of mouth or by sharing flyers to which we will provide)
