New Life Anglican Church - Petoskey, MI

New Life Anglican Church - Petoskey, MI Join us for Sunday worship at 10 am. We are Orthodox in our Christian belief and teaching, viewing all things in light of the cross and the empty tomb.

New Life Anglican Church is deeply committed to the teaching of the scriptures, with special attention paid to the intended meaning of the authors of the various documents contained in the bible. Everything we do, from our worship to sermons, teachings, and classes, are all Christ-centered. We learn about who Jesus is and how we ought to live in light of his teachings, his sacrifice, and his resur

rection from the dead. We also strive to be a community of thinking Christians. We work to form our minds to think through the scriptures and theology as well as difficult issues we face from the world. As such, we don't shy away from difficult topics or questions and we encourage people to be asking such questions. This strengthens our own individual faith, and it makes it much easier to share the truth of the gospel with a world that has many questions. We truly believe that biblical Christianity is the worldview system that is best suited to answer life's most challenging issues.

“It is finished”… Three of the greatest words to ever be spoken. A statement of victory.

Jesus never said “I am finished” He said “IT is finished”. Jesus Christ had done what He came to do.

Through His sacrifice, sin was paid for. It’s the reason anyone can come to God freely, through grace, not effort.

That means you can come to Jesus as you are. Not when you’ve fixed everything.
Not when you feel “good enough.”

Right now.

You’re already invited. Already wanted. Already loved.

Jesus saves lives and He changes lives! ✝️🙏❤️

This podcast by Phylicia Masonheimer (Every Woman a Theologian) about praying liturgical prayers is very interesting. If you've ever felt like praying someone else's words isn't "sincere" or questioned whether liturgical prayers belong in the Christian life, this episode will open up a rich tradition of faith.
