What an incredible kickoff for our Petersburg Distribution! 🙌

We are so thankful for every volunteer who showed up, served with joy, carried boxes, loaded cars, prayed with neighbors, helped organize, and made this first distribution possible. Because of your faithfulness and teamwork, over 250 neighbors received food during our launch night!

We are grateful to be serving Petersburg in partnership with the City of Petersburg VA, and we’re excited to continue this distribution every first Monday of the month through the end of the year.

Beginning on July 6, there will be monthly food distributions at Mount Olivet Baptist Church, a partnership between the City of Petersburg and Chesterfield Food Bank Outreach Center. The Food Distribution initiative was started by Councilman W Howard Myers, who continues to run the program, with the church serving as the pick-up location. See the flyers below. Support for this initiative is needed and welcomed from businesses, organizations, faith-based groups, and community partners! For more info, please visit www.cfboc.org.
