We're hosting a public talk, "Learning to Love Your Enemies" on Sat, Feb 10 at the Peterborough Town Library. The speaker is Giulia Nesi Tetreau, an international speaker and Christian Science healer — in person. Whether an enemy is for a personal, political, or any other reason, this talk is to help relieve the hatred and anger, and to bring more peace and healing into the lives of the people in our wonderful region. It's sponsored by First Church of Christ, Scientist, Peterborough, for the broad, varied Monadnock community. Everyone is welcome.

We are open for Sunday services and Sunday School at 10AM, and Wednesday testimony meetings at 7PM. And our Reading Room is open Tuesdays and Thursdays 11–1. You are welcome here!

Our Church services and Reading Room hours will resume as soon as we’re legally permitted to open.
Meanwhile, we can all rely on this truth in Psalm 46:1, “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”
And from Science and Health, “In divine Science, where prayers are mental, all may avail themselves of God as ‘a very present help in trouble.’”

Then at 7PM, is the Interfaith Thanksgiving Service around the corner at the Unitarian Church, which we're participating in.

On Sat., Nov. 17, is Peterborough's Holiday Stroll, when churches all have their Christmas Fairs, selling homemade and fair trade goods to support their churches. Our church is in a mid-Stroll spot.

We offer hospitality! We bake cookies, heat up spiced cider, and open our doors to all passersby. It's always interesting conversation, and people are often curious to have a little tour of our historic house/church.

This year, we're also collecting food for End 68 Hours of Hunger, a nonprofit that gives a bag of kid-fixable foods to food-insecure kids on Fridays to feed themselves over the weekends.
