Katie Baker, Coordinator for the Clothes Closet, is so thankful for the area community who recently dropped bags upon bags of kids clothes into the shed. Stock was low because of kids returning to school and the folks in the area stepped up. Thanks to all those who helped out.

A group of the guys got together at The Shattuck Golf Course last week to see who could lose the most golf balls in the woods and water. It turned out that there were many winners for the afternoon and the tales after around the burgers were pretty astounding!

Pastor Caleb and the Elders introduced a vision plan to the Leadership Team as we look at where God is leading us as a church. Our Lord has much in store for us in the days ahead and though we don't know what that all entails; we do know that God knows and we want to be where God is.

A group from the Joyful Hearts choir brought joy to the folks at the Scott Farrar home this past week at the monthly Bible study led by Pastor Caleb. It was so nice to hear them sing from their hearts and bring smiles to the residents gathered. Following the gathering the kids and their parents enjoyed ice cream at Charlie's Old Tyme Creamery. The kids loved both events!!!

What a beautiful day for the annual church picnic! Held at Adams Park; the tables of pot-luck food, burgers sizzling on the grills, laughter, games and pure joy created a memorable day. It was so much fun to gather together and share in such fellowship. From playing corn hole, to gaga pit ball, to kick the ball, and the well done Bible trivia game were so much fun. Congratulations to Dahlia L who won the Bible trivia game. Thanks to Kim Robbins and Laura Clayton for pulling it together.

The former and current Deacons of Prayer gathered together this week at Madelyn Klose's home to thank her for her continued dedication to faithful service of knitting so many prayer shawls. The shawls are prayed over stitch by stitch for the person that will one day wear it as they go through a trial, loss, need or some joy in their life. Thank you Madelyn for your dedication and prayer. It means so much to so many.

Renny and Roshini's home in Greenfield was full as folks from MCC gathered together to welcome in the 250th birthday of our country this past Friday evening. Thank you for welcoming us to your home!
