Katie (Whitaker) Baker has been actively involved in MCC for many years being involved in The Music Team and most recently on the Board of Trustees and Children Ministry Team. She was recently invited to be the new Coordinator for the Clothes Closet. We want to thank her for accepting this important role in the life of our church. The Clothes Closet provides free clothing to anyone who needs it in the Monadnock Area. We also want to thank Kim Robbins for leading this ministry for many years. Kim has seen that the Closet is always neat and very well organized; providing clothes and a smile and helping hand to all those that have made use of this ministry. Thank you so much Katie and Kim!

MCC once again shined at the Children and The Arts Festival in Peterborough. Nearly 70 children stopped by to participate in the Garden of Eden coloring contest and walked away with a mini Bible coloring book. The judges from the church had a difficult time choosing the winners of each age category. Those 12 winners went home with an age appropriate Bible storybook, devotional, coloring book or Chistian fictional novel. Thanks to Leslie and Dan Laudebauche for organizing the event and much appreciation goes to all those who stopped in to offer a helping hand. God worked again through this far reaching event.

A wonderful time was had by one and all at the beautiful Women's Tea last Sunday afternoon. Everything was decorated so beautifully with white tablecloths, pink rose napkins, tiered centerpieces with elegant goodies placed upon them and old-fashioned tea cups and saucers at each place. There was a wonderful selection of a variety of teas to choose from. Secret Sisters were revealed to all involved with that program over the last several weeks. Many thanks to Lisa Rivers for heading this up, along with her many helpers who together helped make for such a memorable time, enjoyed each one and all who gathered together. 101-year old attendee Madelyn Klose summed it up so well when she commented, "It was the best Ladies Tea I ever attended." Praise God from whom all blessings flow!

Pastor Caleb leads a Bible study at Scott-Farrar in Peterborough on the 3rd Thursday of the month at 3:00 pm. Scott-Farrar is a retirement community that offers independent living, assisted living and a memory care unit. Each month about a dozen seniors gather to join in singing a hymn or two, listen to Pastor Caleb as he leads the group in looking at God's Word and then discuss together. Here are some familiar faces that join in. Speak to Pastor Caleb if you would like to be part of things.

Colette Lucas, Master Gardener, offered a workshop to a group of parishioners following the worship service this past Sunday. As the coordinator of this mission's work at MCC she helps gardeners to know how to grow vegetables and serves as the point person for collecting vegetable tithes which are given to the Peterborough Food Pantry beginning the end of June. Ask Colette how you can be involved when you see her at Church.

The Holy Spirit worked amongst us this past week through the three special services at which we gathered together, so that Jesus Christ might be remembered and glorified. Maundy Thursday brought 59 people together around the tables to share a meal and remember the Lord's Last Supper. It, indeed, was a special time singing, listening to Caleb's moving meditation and serving each other the cup and the bread.
Good Friday was a solemn occasion with hymns and reminders of all that Jesus did for us upon the cross; and Resurrection Sunday filled the sanctuary with people coming with their joyful hearts and praises to hear the good news that "He is Risen; He is Risen Indeed!"
