After the New year is over, I will be doing a fundraising event for repairs and beautification at the cemetery.
I will be selling memorial bricks for a new walkway. I want to replace the hedges and and put in a memorial walkway in front of the Jesus statue.
If we sell enough I would also like to Put of flags for the Veterans section. I've attached a few photos so you can see what I am talking about.

Hello all!
There has been an issue come up that someone my be able to help with.
Without mentioning any names there's a couple in Jones county that originally bought a complete burial package at the Laurel cemetery that was also owned by the same owners of this cemetery. However when they sold the Laurel cemetary for some reason this couple's plots were transferred to Petal. They don't want to be buried in Petal because all family buried in Jones county.
They are in desperate need of selling the 2 plots in order to recover some of their loss so they can be buried in Laurel.
As you all know all preneed items were lost with previous owners. So basically they lost all preneed and their original plots.
The plots are being sold for $700.00 each. If anyone is interested please let me know and I will facilitate the transfer.

I've had many people asking me about donating for cemetery care. I will be setting up an account soon for that purpose. The last groundskeeper was paid 500.00 every 2 weeks for cutting and weedeating. So at this time I am willing to accept any help.
I know there are some that argue that this is a Perpetual Care Cemetery meaning that the owner keeps up the maintenance. This is true, It's not required for anyone to help. Usually there is a trust to use for maintenance and lot sales to help cover cost, the only reason that I am willing to accept some help such as donations and/or volunteers is because there isn't much of a trust for the care of the cemetery and no sales at all because before I sell any lots I want to make sure what is there is correct or corrected. So everything we do is coming out of pocket right now.

I just ask that everyone continue being patient

I would like to thank everyone for having patience as I figure everything out. Slow going but getting there.
I have been working on mapping the cemetery and once it's complete I will post a copy with burials only. This is to protect the privacy of living individuals that have purchased lots.
