A Message from Pastors Terry and Kristie
How do you sum up 9 years in a few short words?
One month ago the Bethel family voted to unite with Hub City Church of Hattiesburg. But this has been a decision months in the making and actually almost 2 years of praying and seeking the Lord’s direction.
So today we walked in for the final time as Pastors to this wonderful congregation.
Bethel will no longer open its doors as Bethel Assembly but will now house the Hub City family. Exciting things are happening! The dreams, the visions, and the prayers that have been prayed by so many over the years will continue as this congregation unites with Hub City Church.
For almost 9 years now we have served Bethel Assembly of God, first as Associate Pastors and then as Lead Pastors. We have had joys, sorrows and many life changes. Family members have passed, but we’ve also gained new ones to love. We’ve seen children grow into young adults who are now pursuing their careers and starting families of their own. We have loved watching what God is doing in each life.
We believe this is both a beginning, and a continuation. A beginning of new people coming together for kingdom purposes, and a continuation of what God has already been doing through the dreams and in the visions that he spoke through pastors even before us and prayers that have been prayed by countless people who have come through Bethel over the years.
God’s Kingdom purposes is what it is all about. Making his name known until all know Who He is! We can’t wait to see all God does in this next season!
Our new assignment takes us to Crystal Springs, MS. There is a new family of God we get to add to those who already hold a close place in our hearts.
We love each and every one of you! Thank you for the love, support and dedication you have shown to us and to Bethel.
