Isaiah 43:1

But now, O Jacob, listen to the LORD who created you. O Israel, the one who formed you says, “Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine.

Knowing that we belong to the LORD is a wonderful answer to fear. We can know that He holds us, protects us, guards us, and cares for us. We can know that He would not have created, redeemed, and called us unless He intended to finish His work in us. How can we be afraid when we know this God is for us, is looking out for our interests? We either believe HIS word or not, it's our choice.🙏🏼

What a peaceful thought to start this week.

As we see the unraveling of things around us and hear the noise of uncertainty closing in, where is it that we will turn? Nothing will calm our spirits more than spending time with Jesus - nothing!

Psalm 37:4

Delight yourself in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart.

When we align our hearts with the Lord - everything falls into place. Our worldly desires fade and we take on Holy desires for God's will in our lives and the lives of others. We should be in constant communication with him, immerse ourselves in His word and seek Him in every situation.

We pray you all have a good week, finding your stability and grounding yourself in God's word!

Haven’t we all been a runaway?

Has Jesus ever ran after you before and met you where you were?

That’s the beauty of the Father’s love. He won’t let us slip away, He will come after us.

Matthew 8:12
“If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go look for the one that wandered off?

Philippians 4:6-7

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Notice in the verse above it says "with thanksgiving". How many of us are thankful - even for our prayers (the heavy ones)? This world is noisy and the adversary is at work.....he hates thankful followers of the Lord. So let's be mindful of being even more thankful!!!

We pray your weekend is peaceful and blessed. Women's Fellowship Luncheon this Sunday right after church, we are going to Chesterfields.
