🌙 THE NIGHT WHEN HE WAS BETRAYED
John 18:19–27

It was a night of questions, accusations, fear, and betrayal.

Jesus stood before those who questioned Him, knowing exactly what was coming. He remained faithful to His mission and truthful about who He was.

And outside, Peter—the disciple who had promised he would never leave Jesus—denied Him three times.

One remained faithful.
One was afraid.

And yet, this story isn't simply about Peter's failure. It's about the faithfulness of Jesus.

Because Jesus remained faithful when His friends were not.
He remained faithful when He was rejected.
He remained faithful when He was falsely accused.
And He remained faithful all the way to the cross.

Perhaps we see a little of ourselves in Peter. We know what it is like to be afraid, to fall short, or to wish we had been braver.

But the hope of the Gospel is that our salvation rests not on our perfect faithfulness to Christ, but on Christ's perfect faithfulness to us. 🤍

Join us this Sunday as we reflect on John 18:19–27 and remember the One who remained faithful—even in the darkest night.

🌿 IN THE GARDEN, HE WAS FAITHFUL 🌿

John 18:1–9

In the quiet of the garden, Jesus faced the moment He had always known was coming.

He did not run.
He did not hide.
He did not resist the Father's will.

When the soldiers came looking for Him, Jesus stepped forward and declared, "I am He." In that moment, we see His courage, His obedience, and His unwavering love for us.

Christ was never a victim of circumstance. He willingly gave Himself so that we might have life.

Join us this Sunday as we reflect on John 18:1–9 and discover what it means to trust the One who willingly walked the path to the cross for our salvation.

🌿 ABIDE IN MY LOVE 🌿

On Sunday, we reflected on Jesus' invitation:

"Remain in My love." — John 15:9

Abiding in Christ is more than attending church on Sunday. It is a daily relationship that shapes our thoughts, our choices, and our interactions with others.

As you go through this week, take a moment to ask yourself:

• Am I making time to be with Christ?
• Am I trusting His love, even when life feels uncertain?
• How can I show His love to someone today?

Jesus reminds us that His love is not something we earn—it is something in which we remain.

May we stay connected to the True Vine and find our strength, peace, and joy in Him.

THE TRUE VINE
John 15:1–8

“I am the vine; you are the branches.” — John 15:5

In a world that tells us to rely on ourselves, Jesus reminds us of a deeper truth:

Life is found in Him.

Branches cannot bear fruit on their own.
They must remain connected to the vine.

The same is true for us.

When we abide in Christ,
He strengthens us, shapes us, and produces fruit in our lives that brings glory to God.

Apart from Him, we wither.
In Him, we flourish.

Join us this Sunday as we reflect on John 15:1–8 and what it means to remain rooted in Christ.
