In your fitness era? 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ Support the Perth Amboy Corps – Join the Running for the Most Good Virtual 5K! ❤️

We’re excited to announce that registration is now OPEN for the Running for the Most Good Virtual 5K in celebration of National Salvation Army Week (May 11–17)!

Here’s how it works:
✔️ Run or walk 3.1 miles (a 5K)
✔️ Do it ANYWHERE between May 11–17
✔️ Upload your time and celebrate your finish! 🎉

When you register, choose the Perth Amboy Corps so your registration helps support the programs and services right here in our community. Our goal is to recruit at least 25 runners or walkers—and we know our community can go even further!

🏆 Bonus: The Top 3 Corps with the most participants will receive a special prize and recognition after the event.

🚨 Red Kettle Challenge – Friendly Competition! 🚨

Tomorrow, Lt. Angie will face off against our amazing volunteers in a fun Red Kettle Challenge! ❤️🪣

Here’s the twist:
👉 Whoever raises the least amount of money will get an ice-cold water bucket poured on them in the middle of the parking lot! 🧊😄

We’re asking YOU to come out and help with this friendly challenge—support a great cause, help raise money for our community, and maybe even help save our Lt. from an icy splash!

📍 Stop by ShopRite at Woodbridge, Old Bridge, Parlin, Arberdeen, Walmart at Woodbridge and Old Bridge, donate, cheer us on, and be part of the fun.

Today’s Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting brought our community together in the most heartwarming way. The Salvation Army was truly honored to serve hot chocolate, coffee, and delicious pastries as families gathered to celebrate the season. ☕🍩❤️

A very special shoutout to our own Phil Clark, who proudly served as one of this year’s Grand Marshals! We’re so grateful for his dedication and leadership. 🙌🎅
