pursue it, for the Glory of God. Higher Purpose Fellowship (HPF) is a cross cultural and diverse church which began October 2011 in Woodbridge, New Jersey. Pastor Michael L Miller was lead of Spirit of God to start a church that would impact the Christian community of Northern and Central New Jersey. The question may be asked, Why another church? Higher Purpose Fellowship is here to love, serve and mentor Christian’s into spiritual maturity and a satisfying relationship with Jesus Christ. The latest statistics say that 41% of Bible believing, God Honoring Christians do not affiliate with a local church. It is our prayer and desire to be an answer to that problem. Most English dictionaries define the word mentor as: To serve as a trusted counselor or teacher. WHAT DO WE MEAN BY MENTOR AND WHY IS IT SO VITAL TO SPIRITUAL GROWTH? We believe Christian Mentoring should equip Believers to Evangelize, Nurture, Disciple and Multiply. It is our goal and aim to mentor by training, challenging, loving and serving every person that becomes a part of Higher Purpose Fellowship! WHY DO WE MENTOR AND NOT JUST “HAVE CHURCH”? It is our aim is to give you more than a good church experience on a Sunday morning. So often Christians confess that they had a great time at church or a great experience at a Christian event, but they there was no real change (transformation) that could be applied to their everyday life (workplace, marriage, community, trials etc.). Higher Purpose Fellowship strives to develop lasting transformation by mentoring and discipling. This allows us to fulfill our Lord’s command to his church to go into all the world and make disciples (Mt. 28:19, 20).
