Harmon Pipes Gray Family Association

Harmon Pipes Gray Family Association The Old Union Cemetery in Perryville, Kentucky was founded in 1803. and Margaret Trump, John Pipes Jr.

All three of the men who are the namesakes of our family association, John Gray and Lucinda Jones, Michael Harmon Sr. and Mary Morris came to Kentucky in the late 1700s and settled in Mercer County known as Boyle county today. In the early 1800s James Copeland and his wife Martha pooled their resources and built a small church on the site we know today as the Old Union Cemetery. This page is about

relaying information regarding the Harmon Pipes Gray Family Association and our dedicated efforts to maintain and upkeep the cemetery grounds, as well as connecting members of our families from around the world. We hold annual events where we discuss business and other donation-specific activities that are the life blood to helping preserve the site while continuing to educate future generations.

Some more photos from the recent 2023 Harmon Pipes Gray family association annual reunion held on Sunday, August 13th.

Please note, we have decided via vote to make a change to our schedule. Future reunion events will now be held on the second Saturday in August to accommodate families with children in school and so parents can get back to their destinations with a travel day on Sunday. We hope this will allow for more to attend.

Also, Peggy Edgington is stepping down from her VP role which Mary Tudor has been elected to. Travis Pipes was elected as a member of the board of directors.

Information on the 2024 reunion will be posted once we know more.

Thanks and have a great rest of the summer!
