Fatherhood is a tremendous gift. Obviously, I am not, nor will I ever will be, other than a ‘spiritual father’, but because of my own father’s love and because of our Heavenly Father’s love, I can understand the immense gift that fatherhood is.
I know that the love my earthly father has shown me throughout my life is merely a fraction of the love that God has for each one of us.
My dad understands the love of our Heavenly Father and he reflects that in all he does. This is the epitome of fatherhood. And this is the type of fatherhood that, in a world fraught with hatred for the preborn, the elderly, and traditional families, we need more of. We need more men to step up and be the fathers that our Heavenly Father wants them to be.
Our World Needs Dads
It has been said that anyone can be a father, but it takes a special man to be a dad. Fatherhood is not just a job or a position within the family; it’s a vocation, a calling.

Ser padre es un regalo extraordinario. Obviamente, no soy —ni seré nunca— más que un «padre espiritual»; sin embargo, gracias al amor de mi propio padre y al amor de nuestro Padre Celestial, comprendo el inmenso regalo que supone la paternidad.
Sé que el amor que mi padre terrenal me ha demostrado a lo largo de mi vida es apenas una fracción del amor que Dios siente por cada uno de nosotros.
Mi padre comprende el amor de nuestro Padre Celestial y lo refleja en todo lo que hace. Esto representa la esencia misma de la paternidad. Y este es el tipo de paternidad que necesitamos en un mundo plagado de odio hacia los no nacidos, los ancianos y las familias tradicionales. Necesitamos más hombres que den un paso al frente y sean los padres que nuestro Padre Celestial desea que sean.
Nuestro mundo necesita padres
Se suele decir que cualquiera puede ser padre, pero hace falta un hombre especial para ejercer como tal. La paternidad no es simplemente un trabajo o un puesto dentro de la familia; es una vocación, una llamada.
