What started as a parish Lenten gathering has turned into so much more!
A few years ago someone suggested we invite anyone that needed a meal to our Lent soup suppers. And after Lent someone else suggested we should keep holding soup suppers every Wednesday!
At first we had a few people show up. And then a few more. And then folks began to make friends with their neighbor. Now we regularly have 50-70 show up to dine together as a community.
Some people need food, some people need a smiling face, some people need company, some people want a casual environment to talk to a priest, and some people just need someone else to do the cooking one night a week. It doesn’t matter why you come! We are so happy to have you as part of our community. Thank you for being with us on Wednesdays!
