📖This message was not for the faint of heart! 🔥Wosha! Pastor brought a powerful, thought-provoking Word packed with wisdom, knowledge, understanding, warning, and love. The message was titled “Do You Really Love God With Your Mouth?” The Scriptures included James 3:6–12, Colossians 3:8, Luke 6:45, Ephesians 4:29, 1 Peter 3:10, and Matthew 15:21. They address profanity and a nasty attitude—neither of which reflects God’s character or represents who He is. We are commanded to speak life and build one another up. When correction is needed, it should be given in love and seasoned with grace.
✝️God sees and hears everything we do and say. Matthew 15:11 tells us that it is not what goes into us that defiles us, but what comes out of us, because the mouth speaks from the abundance of the heart. We need to ask God to bridle our tongues and help us be mindful of what we say. Even when people cross us the wrong way, we must lean on the Holy Spirit to guide our response. We want to please God with our words and our lives, so let’s be careful about the language we use. If our words do not bring glory to God or bring life to His people, we need to reevaluate our hearts.
‼️Wow, what a Word from the Lord! This is one of those messages you have to listen to again because it’s impossible to capture everything in writing. God loves us enough to tell us the truth, even when it offends us. He cares more about our souls than our attitudes! Thank you, Pastor, for such an honest yet powerful message from the Lord.
