Epworth 2024 is just a few days away and we are very excited to welcome all of you! Please be in prayer for all that the Father has in store for us!
Registration/Check-In
First Love Ministries’ Epworth Retreat 2024 begins on July 26th at Epworth By The Sea, 100 Arthur J. Moore Dr., Saint Simons Island, GA, 31522.
Once you arrive at Epworth, Registration/Check-In will begin at 3:00 PM in the Strickland Building. Please do not go to Epworth’s Front Office to get room keys unless you made your arrangement directly with Epworth.
Cancellations
If you, or someone in your party/group, have registered for Epworth and your plans have changed, please email us as soon as possible so that we can make the appropriate changes with Epworth.
Please know that First Love Ministries is responsible for the full cost of each room we reserve for our guests, even when they do not show up. Please help up make the best use of ministry funds.
Registrations Fees/Payments
Many of you have asked about the cost and how to pay for Epworth. The cost per person depends largely on the accommodations and number of participants per room. The registration fee includes two nights at Epworth By The Sea and six meals at the Epworth Cafeteria.
Although you do not have to pre-pay, you are welcome to pay in advance to speed up the registration/check-in process. You may pay either online or in person at Epworth check-in via credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, & American Express). Checks should be made out to First Love Ministries and cash is also accepted. If you would like to know what your party/groups registration fee is, please reach out to Cody Gibbs.
Cabin Dwellers
Cabin Dwellers must bring either twin sheets for a bunk bed or a sleeping bag, pillow, and blanket and a towel. You also must bring your own toiletries. Toilet paper is provided.
Cabin devotionals and ministry should be held both nights by the cabin leader with the whole group starting no later than 11:30 PM. There is a curfew. All cabin dwellers should be inside the cabin by midnight (or earlier if your cabin leader tells you to come in earlier). You can stay up as long as your cabin leader allows, but please stay inside the cabin so that the security guard will not have to say anything to you. No horseplay, water balloons, or shaving cream fights in the cabin area. You can do these activities on the field besides Brown Auditorium as long as you clean up your mess.
Saturday Afternoon Ministry and Baptisms
After lunch on Saturday afternoon, we will have ocean baptisms (weather dependent) led by Shane Lamontagne.
We will also have a time of ministry in Strickland Auditorium from 1:00PM-4:00PM lead by Richard Hufnagel and his team. They will be praying from those who have pain in their body or need deliverance. We ask that if you are not participating in ministry, please do not congregate in the Strickland Auditorium.
