Good morning, brothers and sisters in Christ. Welcome! To the unbeliever, we love you and are glad you're joining us this morning. Today, Pastor Jordan will be leading us through Matthew 16:1–12.

Father, we ask this morning that You would prepare Jordan to speak Your Word with clarity and to speak only what You have given him to say. Lord, we ask that You would prepare our hearts and minds to receive and understand what You are giving us today.

Holy Father, we ask, Lord, that any unbeliever who hears this message, whether in the sanctuary or online, would be called to You and placed under Your mighty and majestic Name today so that all of Heaven may rejoice over the growth of Your Kingdom.

Father, we ask that You move in a mighty way throughout every gathering taking place in Your Name today. We pray for courage and Your guidance over every preacher, pastor, and teacher who is spreading Your Word this morning. May they stand firm in Your Word and preach Your truth.

We pray that people would be prepared for conviction, accept it, and repent. We understand that conviction is simply You not letting us go, but lovingly guiding us back to the path of righteousness.

God, You are too good to describe or even fully understand. You are a perfect Holy Father, and for that we thank You, we love You, and we praise You. There is no other God!

We pray this in the mighty Name of the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
