Dear Heavenly Father,

This morning, Lord, we come before You humbly, and we ask that You place Your hand upon Jordan, God. As Your Word is proclaimed, Father, guide him in the direction You want this message to go. Speak through him and into the hearts of every person who hears what You have given him to bring to us today.

Lord, I pray that You would soften the hearts of each and every person here—whether they are in this building, watching online, or wherever they may be this morning. Draw them near to You, God. Break down every wall and every barrier that keeps us from You, and bring us to a place where we willingly submit to Your mighty will.

Father, I pray that today would be a day when lives are changed, hearts are turned toward You, and lives are dedicated and committed to You. Let Your truth call out to those who are searching for it. Lord, we ask that we see You move in a mighty way among us this morning.

As Jordan brings us the Scripture from Matthew 19, we pray that Your Word would go out over this congregation with truth and love. Let it reach our hearts, open our eyes, and help us see You clearly through it.

God, we also lift up Molly to You this morning as she cares for and teaches these babies. Give her the right words and the right things to say so that they can understand Your Word, and let the foundation of their lives be firmly established in You.

Lord, I pray for Granny June as she serves in the nursery with these little ones. Bless her with strength, patience, and grace as she cares for them. We thank You for those who faithfully serve even in the places that may not always be seen.

Father, we pray over the worship this morning. Let everything we sing and every word we speak be glorifying and pleasing to You. As we call out to You and invite You to come and be among us, Lord, receive our worship and our praise.

God, let everything we do today, every breath we breathe, everything we say, and everything that occupies our minds bring glory and honor to You.

We love You, Lord, and we thank You for who You are, for Your Word, for Your presence, and for the opportunity to gather together in Your name.

In the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ,

This week. No Wednesday night at our church. We will be joining the renewal

October 15th, This coming Thursday will be the next men's night, hosted by Rocky Anderson in our fellowship hall. Bring your Sons, Dads, Grandpas, Grandsons, Uncles, Nephews, and so on, invite the men from your church, and the men you know don't go to church. Let's get the Word of God to them all. you have plenty of time to save up for this. Rocky appreciates all the donations, He's being putting this on in Perry since January 2016, and The Good Lord has blessed him to be able to continue to afford doing this. Something Rocky has never mentioned and will probably get aggravated if he finds out I'm putting it on here... but anyway he pays nearly 30$ a steak just for the steak that's not including the 10lbs of taters, all the mac and cheese, the salad, the plates and utensils, cups, dressings, steak sauces, and whatever else, he's always stuck to asking for at least 10$ donation a plate (if you can afford) and if you can't he isn't worried too much about that. This is not a church function, it's Rocky's event. If The Good Lord has blessed you and you're able, do what you can to help Ol' Rocky out.

We appreciate everything Jordan does and not just this month. We also appreciate Blair. Watching their growth is such an awesome journey to watch and share.
