It’s easy to recognize what needs to change in someone else. Seeing what’s happening in our own hearts can be much harder.

Sometimes God brings things to the surface not to condemn us, but because He loves us too much to leave them unresolved. When He reveals an attitude, habit, or sin we need to deal with, we have an opportunity to make it right.

Instead of waiting for hidden issues to eventually show themselves, invite God into the process.

“God, show me what’s going on in my heart. Show me what needs to change so I can work on it.”

Faithfulness isn’t measured by how much you have. It’s measured by what you do with what has already been entrusted to you.

That applies to our finances, but it goes beyond money. God calls us to be responsible with the resources, opportunities, and responsibilities He places in our hands.

And that same sense of purpose should shape how we share our faith. If people will work tirelessly for things that only matter here and now, how much more intentional should we be about something with eternal significance?

Be faithful with what you’ve been given, and use it for what matters.

Money itself isn’t the problem. The question is what place it holds in our lives.

Our finances, careers, families, and possessions can all be blessings. But even good things become dangerous when they begin occupying the place that belongs to God.

Jesus makes the choice clear: we can possess money without allowing money to possess us.

Take an honest look at what has your heart. God doesn’t have to be the only thing you value, but He must be the One you value above everything else.

It’s easy to think generosity is something we’ll practice later, when there’s more money, more security, or more room in the budget.

But giving is an act of faith. It means trusting God enough to be generous with what we have now and believing that He is our provider.

God’s nature is generous. He gives abundantly, and He calls us to reflect that same generosity in our own lives.

Don’t wait for abundance before becoming generous. Start with what God has already placed in your hands.

Praise isn’t only something we offer God when life is going well. Sometimes praise is exactly what we need when life feels the heaviest.

Paul and Silas praised God from inside a prison. Their circumstances hadn’t changed yet. The doors were still closed and the chains were still there. But they chose to praise God anyway, and then things began to happen.

Whatever has you feeling weighed down today, don’t wait for the breakthrough before you praise Him.

Celebrate who God is. Sing to Him. Praise Him right where you are and trust Him with what comes next.
