In a society that has come to believe the higher they can raise their platform, the more reach/influence they will have, for the good they say! But when you leave the Foundation that is fixed and the word that is true, it’s no longer about Him, you have made it about you. “Let’s build our tower tall that all the world can see…it’s not about Him but me. “
I worry that as Satan beguiled Eve through his subtlety, we may be enticed to complicate “The Gospel “ of which I am not ashamed because it is the power of God unto salvation!
Preach the word in season and out always ready to give an answer for the hope that is within you.
When we allow the world to set the schedule, fill the program and keep the calendar, we are no longer holy and set apart. We have become an unacceptable offering to a Holy God. Come out from among them saith the Lord. Be ye holy for I Am holy, be ye Perfect as your Father is perfect.
We must stop lowering God’s standard as we walk as pilgrims on a journey through this foreign land on our way home! Dare to be different! Have nothing to do with the unfruitful works of darkness! Child of God…run to the light, walk in the light, be the light as we advance the true Gospel! As we walk in obedience to His Word, The Holy Ghost will guide, direct and lead us all the way. Then do we have His assurance of secure and safe travels blessed with His abundance as we abide in Him and He in us..Enjoy the trip but don’t loose focus for the best is yet to come!

Praying we stay in His Grip!

Colossians 3:2
“Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.”

Romans 1:16
16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

John 17:17
17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

1 Peter 1:16

2 Corinthians 3:11

2 Timothy 4:2-5
2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.
3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
5 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

John 3:30
30 He must increase, but I must decrease

Luke 1:46
46 And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord

2 Timothy 4:8
“Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.”

James 4:10
10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.

1 Corinthians 3:11
11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

Oh Lord send rain!

Location, Location, Location…there is a place you fit perfectly, designed by the Maker. When you find that place, then will the peace of God rule in your walk and work as you follow the Way!

You will be fitted in the fabric of the Church as a supplying joint, properly positioned with purpose and placed by Him that bought you for a work He ordained that you should walk in it!

So many times we want the fruit without putting down any roots, only to realize that we are incapable, even destined for destruction.

We need saving but we don’t want a Savior correcting us. Oh what a mess we are as we grope along in darkness. LORD draw us to You, call us into the fold. Straighten this crooked mess we are living. Keep us on the narrow path that leads to life everlasting, the old path that You have constantly beckoned men to walk . Let us no more say “we will not walk therein”. Quicken us that none tarry as we run to You!
Then let us expectantly look up and see clouds forming! Bless us Lord unworthy as we are when we come to understand Your goodness….

Matthew 7:13-14
13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find

Ephesians 5:8
“For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:”

Ephesians 4:16
16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

Job 5:8-10
8 “I would seek unto God, and unto God would I commit my cause:”
9 “Which doeth great things and unsearchable; marvellous things without number:”
10 “Who giveth rain upon the earth, and sendeth waters upon the fields:”

John 15:5
“I am the vine, ye arethe branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.”

Jeremiah 6:16
“Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.”

Romans 8:11
“But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.”

Judas held the money in his hands…
but lost something far more valuable—Jesus.

The bag of silver looked like gain,
but it was actually loss.

Sometimes what glitters isn’t a blessing—it’s a distraction.

Judas didn’t betray Jesus because he didn’t know Him…
he betrayed Him because he valued something else more.

And that’s the question for us today:

What are we holding onto that is costing us our closeness with God?

It may not be money—
it could be pride, sin, approval, or temporary pleasure.

The tragedy of Judas is not just betrayal…
it’s that he chose something temporary over something eternal.
