The CVC Food Truck Party invites children ages 4 to 12 to get On a Roll with God and "Cook up some fun" while learning that everything we have comes from God. By Turning to God's prayer, all of our daily needs are met.

Our Party begins on Tuesday July 19th from 9am - 12:15p until Friday July 22nd with an evening awards at 6:30p so the Kids can show off all they have learned.

So come join in on the fun and bring a friend of 2! See you there!

FUN FACTS: We can trace back as early as 1870's when sharing the Gospel with Children was the motivation for summer day camps also known as VBS. Much has changed but the mission still remains.

1866 - The 1st origins of Christian Bible education to children just after the Civil War by Wheaton University education Professor C.B. Eavey

1870s - Children's summer Bible education in Lake Chautauqua, NY and Montreal, Canada

1894 - In Hopedale, IL D.T. Miles started Summer Bible School

1898 - Virginia Sinclair Hawes hosted Everyday Bible school in NYC

The Vacation Church school was started to keep idle children busy in a wholesome way. In the Eastern part of the country lasted 5 weeks and they included Bible content, worship, music, open-air games, expressionless activities (sewing, weaving, hammock making, plus talks on patriotism and hygiene).

1901 - Dr Robert Boville established Vacation Bible School

1922 - The World Association of Daily Vacation Bible school was founded by Dr Robert Boville

1951 - Summer Bible school program exceeded 60k programs nationwide

1997 - It was estimated 80% of U.S. Churches hosted Summer Bible Schools

2017 - Across the U.S. 2.5 million enrollments for Summer Bible camps

2022 - Many more lives will be changed for eternity!
