Mrs. Dahlgren’s Kindergarteners have been learning about the life cycle of a butterfly. Yesterday, they released their butterfly together after waiting two weeks for the caterpillar to change into a butterfly 🦋

✝️ Worship Wednesday ✝️

Thank you, Gary Bach, for leading us in Chapel today! Gary is a member of St. Paul's, serves on the Board of Education, and is a retired DCE.

Some special helpers were CHOSEN to help open the message time with a demonstration. Once two helpers were CHOSEN they were asked to then CHOOSE four others to come up. Some were CHOSEN because they were the first ones to volunteer, were friends with them, or just randomly. Those that were not CHOSEN felt a little left out! 😕

Thank goodness God doesn't CHOOSE us like we CHOOSE each other. We tend to make our selections based on if we like someone, how they look, what kind of talents/abilities they have, etc.
God CHOOSES us out of His love and mercy. 💜

🐿️ Do you remember learning about taxonomy in school?

Well, our second grade class has been working in small groups to learn about how to organize animals based on their characteristics. 🦉🐞🦎

From having bones, to laying eggs, and even what type of outer covering an animal has, Mrs. Adamczyk's class is finding out different ways to classify animals!

📖 Miss Geistfeld's Preschool class visited the library last week where they were able to pick a book to explore!

🍎 The preschoolers also had the opportunity to use their fine motor skills to create tissue paper apples and buses.
