What if joy doesn’t have to wait until life gets better? 🤍

Sometimes we think joy will come after the hard season. After the prayer is answered. After things finally change.

But Scripture gives us a different picture.

“The joy of the Lord is your strength.” — Nehemiah 8:10

Joy isn’t the reward you get after you survive the season. Joy is the strength you survive it with.

Whatever season you’re walking through today, remember: your circumstances don’t have to be good for God to still be good.

The gift isn’t our foundation. The Giver is.

Save this for the days when joy feels a little harder to find. 🤍

Joy isn’t reserved for the easy seasons.

It’s not the prize waiting for you once everything finally gets better. Scripture tells us that “the joy of the Lord is your strength.”

That means joy can meet you right in the middle of the hard season. In the uncertainty. In the waiting. Even in the tears.

Your circumstances may not change overnight, but your source of strength hasn’t changed.

Don’t let the season steal what God wants to sustain you with. 🤍

Joy isn’t the absence of hard seasons. It’s the strength we survive them with. 🤍

Happiness reacts to our circumstances, but joy runs deeper. Joy is rooted in knowing who God is, what He has already done, and trusting that even when our circumstances change, He does not.

That’s why we can say, like Habakkuk, “YET I will rejoice in the Lord.”

The season doesn’t get to steal your song.
The circumstances don’t get to determine the temperature of your soul.

The joy of the Lord is your strength. His joy is yours. đź–¤

What if joy isn’t something you have to manufacture… but something grace grows in you? 🌱

In the New Testament, the word for joy, chara, and the word for grace, charis, come from the same root.

Because biblical joy was never meant to depend on perfect circumstances. It grows out of what God has already done for us.

Your season may change.
Your circumstances may change.
But the grace of Jesus hasn’t changed… and that means your joy doesn’t have to disappear with the season.

“Joy is what happens in you when you realize what God has already done FOR you.”

Stay connected to Jesus. Let grace do its work. And let joy grow. 🤍

The name that heals.
The name that brings hope to the broken.
The name above every other name.

And tonight, we’re gathering to lift up that name together.

If you’ve been tired, carrying something heavy, needing breakthrough, or simply longing to spend time in the presence of God, come worship with us.

If you’re in a hard season right now, let this remind you of who God is.

He does not turn away from your pain.
He does not grow distant in your grief.
He does not ask you to carry it alone.

He draws near to the brokenhearted, and He runs toward your tears.

“The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.” Psalm 34:18

Maybe you needed this reminder today:

God is not distant from your pain.

When your heart is broken, when the tears won’t stop, when you’re walking through a season you never would have chosen, He is near.

Jesus doesn’t stand far off from our grief. He meets us in it. He weeps with us. He runs toward our tears, not away from them.

“The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.” Psalm 34:18 🤍

You may be hurting, but you are not alone.

Send this to someone who needs that reminder today.

There are seasons when growth is obvious, and there are seasons when it feels like nothing is happening.

But hidden does not mean absent.

In winter, a tree can look bare while its roots are growing deeper beneath the surface. And sometimes God is doing the same kind of work in us. Building endurance. Deepening our trust. Strengthening what will need to carry the fruit that comes later.

So if you’re praying, waiting, serving, and staying faithful without seeing the breakthrough yet, don’t give up.

“He has made everything beautiful in its time.”
Ecclesiastes 3:11

Your season may not look like harvest yet, but God is still at work. 🌱

Keep going. Keep trusting. The season will turn.
